M.A.T. Mechanical Advantage Tourniquet£29.95
One of the best tourniquets available. All qualified medics should look at this as part of their trauma equipment pack.
The Mechanical Advantage Tourniquet (MAT) represents one of the most current advances in trauma and critical care.
The rapid application and complete arterial occlusion that is achieved by the MAT combat tourniquet is critically important in pre-hospital control of severe arterial bleeding, combat, accident, and disaster situations alike.
With the MAT, arterial bleeds are typically brought under control within 10 seconds… This provides significantly increased patient survivability in critical care trauma prior to evacuation to definitive treatment.
Recommended for medically trained personnel as part of their trauma equipment pack.

Quikclot Gauze Z Fold£44.95
Quikclot Gauze Z-Fold is a soft, white, sterile, non-woven gauze impregnated with kaolin, an inert mineral that does not contain animal or human proteins or botanicals, Quikclot Gauze Z-Fold is an improvement on the original Quikclot Gauze. As a result of feedback from the US Military, Z-Medica improved the Quikclot Gauze product by making it Z folded, vacuum packed and with an x-ray detectable strip. The Quikclot Gauze Z-Fold is even easier to apply since the gauze is in a z-fold format, which makes packing wounds easier and eliminates the risk of the roll falling away and getting contaminated. The vacuum packed feature of the product makes it much more compact, saving room on your body. Finally, the x-ray detectable strip that is incorporated in the Gauze ensures that it will be found if the patient is taken to the operating room. Each Quikclot Gauze Z-Fold is individually packaged in a vacuum sealed military grade foil pouch and is indicated for the temporary external control of traumatic bleeding. Like all the Quikclot gauze products, it is flexible and pliable and contours to all wounds. Recommended as the number one hemostatic agent by the COTCCC (Committee of Tactical Combat Casualty Care), Wuikclot Gauze Z-Fold is the only product carried by all branches of the US Military to control life-threatening haemorrhage.
